This project was a tight access city centre construction. The project was a reinforced concrete insitu frame with brick cladding. The tower crane was particularly sourced so that it could be cut up on site as the access was so restricted.
My duties included assisting the Senior Quantity Surveyor with ongoing measurement of the Works as required, valuation of the bricklayers works as well as checking smaller subcontractor accounts.
On valuation days I would value the materials on site and agree this with the Clients Quantity Surveying staff. In addition to this I would also provide measurement details to assist with the interim valuations. Following the valuation I would also assist the Senior Quantity Surveyor with the monthly cost-value report.
