This site is in a fairly narrow street in Windsor in Berkshire. The concrete frame construction was generally compeleted when I went to work on the project as was the majority of the brickwork.
My responsibilities were to measure and agree interim valuations with the carpentry subcontractor as well as agreement and payment of other subcontractors such as the roofing company etc.
On valuation days I assisted the Senior Surveyor, Bryan Winchester with valuation figures and materials on site. We would meet with the PQS on site then adjourn to their offices to complete the paperwork for the agreed valuations.
As the company, JM Jones was working on this site we were also employed to manage some adjacent shop fit out works and alterations. I arranged the subcontractors for this, raised invoices directly with the Client and agreed the final account.
